Thanks Dingo - I think my total kms covered would have enabled me to travel back and forth on the north Island 4 times...

This morning, got in the car, Volt Meter was back to normal... so very weird.

Anyone have any thoughts on the badly behaving volt meter?

did you recheck it with the hand held meter? I don't trust the on board gages very much.

I had a look at the grounding strap, connections, terminals - all look good.

I have not lifted the car up yet, nor have I checked the rest of the cable.

Sam provided me a software update this AM and when I plugged the Cobb in, it told me I had 12.3v available, so that seems 'OK'.

It was after the extended run the volt meter dropped down, but now it is back to where I would consider it to be somewhat normal. I also see RufRob is having a similar issue, so I am following that too.

Electrical gremlins are frustrating as hell.
