Hello, I just picked up my new Turbo and I have most of the carbon fiber interior options except the steering wheel. I just picked one up from Brandywine and I was wondering if anyone could give me some instructions on how to remove the airbag and put in the new wheel or is it simpler for my dealer to do it?

Place wheels and steering wheering wheel in straight ahead position. Remove 2 allen screws from the backside. Pull off airbag. Disconnect horn and airbag connector wires. remove center locknut. Rock wheel off alternating back and forth pulling force at 3:00 and 9:00 positions.
Installation is reverse procedure.

You should also disconnet the battery or you can get an airbag fault or worse an airbag that explodes while you are working on it. You only have to disconnect the negative pole of the battery.

Would like to know same about removing door panels, in order to swap door pull handles and door speakers. Just dis battery? okbarnett@tampabay.rr.com
