Default Recommended pedals set?

Hi, I had a set of Rennline adjustable pedals in my '85 which were awesome...heel-toeing became a cinch compared to stock. I'm about to buy a set of them for my dad's '87 currently having engine rebuilt and wondered if anyone else had opinions after treating their 996tt ride to aftermarket pedal sets? I don't think the rennline's are made for our cars, but the days are numbered for the ugly silver Sparco pedals in my 996tt (think the gas pedal is still stock tho).

PS. If anyone knows where i can get a discount code for rennline.com purchase please let me know! I tried 'GOFAST'... but no go....

The Rennline's look pretty slick too... in black anyway.

Rennline does make a fancy gas pedal and other pedals for the 996. I kept things factory pedal wise, but did get one of these to replace the plastic factory hinge.

Ahh crap I'm still used to searching '911' haha..... and in my head a 996 IS a 911 so i don't think to look further through their menu system... my bad. The rennline pedal set for our car is here...

https://www.rennline.com/Pedals-Full...products/1127/

I suppose that billet hinge is part of the full pedal assembly if i went that route. Gah... $375 usd converted and shipped is pricey. I wonder if they are as much of an improvement over stock as they are for the g-series cars. I've got so little time in my 996tt that I can't actually remember how the pedals sit in relation to each other.... and i'm travelling south america atm and can't go check lol. Anyone have feedback on the rennlines for 996? Cheers!

I like to heel/toe with the side of my foot and find the factory pedals too small.
How are the ones above?

the rennline pedal has two adjustable extensions on the throttle pedal for heel/toe

I have that same set in my 996TT cab, always thought they look great and feel great too. Considering buying another pair for my Coupe which has a worn out looking clutch pedal.

I had the same set on my Boxster which I sold to get my 996 TT. I reached out to the seller if he still sold these. Apparently, Porsche shut him down.
I have Rennline and I love them! Pelican Parts had a really great sale few years ago.. and I got them for a great price.

yeah porsche AG-pcna got very aggressive a few years ago re protecting their trademark.

they even "cease and desisted" a used p-car parts place in CA over unauthorized use of the "name". logo's too = verboten.

I bought and have a set of the Rennline pedals, but then decided my feet were big enough (13) that I didn't really need them - heel and toeing on the factory pedals is actually quite easy for me.

Hmmmm! Are they black by chance? Annnnnd you accept paypal? Etransfer? CanTire$$$??

I see Pelican sells Rennlline pedals and offer a 10% discount to PCA members. Figuring my business should be enough tit to justify tat... I contacted Rennline direct and they've offered me 10% off just for asking. Nice. I will likely do that for my dad's '87... lemme know if you wanna sell your TT pedal set, I might be interested!

Yeah, Canadian Tyre money makes the world go around...

I'll see if I can find them tomorrow - I could let them go.
