Typically, I would think that folks don't run towards the light unless they have too.

Got to admit, the smoked versions are tempting.

I'm now looking into the LED rears myself now and there are two types the ones that look just like our OEMs and the one we've seen in this post. I'm looking at both has anyone installed this version wanting to keep the OEM look but the other ones have all LEDs these still have the reverse and rear fog are standard bulbs. looking for opinions on one versus the other

the orginals ( del rey customs ) have the led's for R lights and that's one of the best features.

given what backup lights are designed and intended to do.

Pretty sure the ones you’re showing are NOT the Turbo/C4S wide body ones. AFAIK the only LEDs that fit the wide bodies are the Del Rey ones. Online catalogs frequently show the narrow body taillight housings for the Turbos but they are wrong.

By the way, if anyone has a set of dead/broken LED widebody tail lights they'd like to get rid of, PM me. I'm interested as long as the outer lenses are in good shape.

agreed. smoked are the only ones for me that looked "right" and not garish. i was able to get mine from the shop that imported them in LA and saw every style/color they made as they used my car for some promo shots at the time. the clear looked way too ricer or like cheesy aftermarket VW lights.

mmm, rice and cheese.

Hey, you calling my car ricer and cheesy?! I consider it demure and understated.

Is that " Red Smoked" or "Blacked Smoked" led taillights from Delrey Customs?
