Friend whos cars i detail has a 04 mach 1 with substantial power upgrades enough to warrant a triple carbon clutch. I hate driving that thing.

Indeed, this ERP is not the smoothest to get moving, there can be judder on biting. You do get kinda used to it, and can make it look smoother with a little practice thankfully. It can be very easy to stall when moving off if you are not familiar with the pedal weight. It's easier on the move. I'm either getting used to it, or it is loosening up about 10% and so becoming more acceptable with the more regular use now, I hope ! Lol.

The guy I bought it from had tried several double and triple clutches, and swears by this ERP setup as being the best solution for this cars upgrades. Its still early days for me so guess that we will see.

Yikes, thats certainly something worth cleaning up considering the proximity to what I assume is a meth tank there in the front.

That's the kind of "handiwork" that led me to rip out my entire interior and redo everything in the car that was touched by the installer hired by the previous owner.

I will never understand how people can do such sloppy work. They are just asking for trouble. One chafed wire and the ECU/CAN-BUS will go berserk.

Yep, but it is a good time of the year now to be giving her attention. Fueling system healthcheck and removing/tidy engine bay surplus components next. Hoping she's ready for fun before the spring.

Pucker factor: High.
One of the guys in our club owns a 930, he said once he went to pass a car on the highway and I guess swerved out a little to quick and hit the boost and ended up spinning in circles down the highway at 80 mph. Luckily nobody was hurt but needless to say a change of underwear was in order after that event. Even on my stock 996 turbo the tires break loose at full boost in 2nd gear and the car slips sideways a bit, I can’t imagine a rwd turbo with 1000hp.

No need to imagine, here she is.......

....tbh I'm a little afraid 😆. Till now I've been driving around at just 1 bar boost

Your work is considerably cleaner - not something I would expect to see on such a build.
