I piut some infos from a Test in a ig Geramn sports cars magazins. you can see the comparison in aceleration between a 996TT with Gt2 Turbos and one with GT1hybrid Turbos. you will notice tha the lag decrease on the smaller Gt1 Turbos which makes less poer up top is not worth installing them unless you are most of the time in city trafic or you are driving in very low RPM.

If I understand correctly:

DME + hybrid turbos + exhaust = 508bhp car

DME + K24 GT2 + exhaust = 520bhp car

Which company did the DME reprogramme? Am I correct in saying that GT2 turbo car has a reprogrammed DME as your article was not clear about this.

yes this is right.
DME + hybrid turbos + exhaust = 508bhp car

DME + K24 GT2 + exhaust = 520bhp car

But the 508 HP is the max for the hybrids. There are other companys now who makes 540 HP with the GT2 Turos with only a DME reprograming an exhaust and the GT2 Turbos.
with some other modification 600 HP are possile with the GT2 Turbos.
In this test showed Tech Art , Gemballa, RS-Tuning, TTP and Sportec.
the data for the Gt2 Turboed cars were about the same . The slowest had 520 HP teh fastetst 540 HP and was about 1 sec faster from 100 to 200 km/h (60-125 mph)

fastest car till now for this test is the Mantay Turbo withonly 5.5 sec from 100 to 200 km/h
