Meaning, doing regular leakdown and compression checks and not over revving the car. When it does come time for a rebuild, I have a friend who is a retired Porsche Master Tech that still has an account with PMNA and can get parts and will do the rebuild with me for less than half of what PMNA charges.

Beyond that, the suspension components that I replace on a time interval already are similar and with the ~800lb weight reduction compared to my Turbo I might even be a little easier on the brakes and tires, lol.

Regarding a Radical, I've looked into those too but there are horror stories with those as well in terms of parts availability. Sure the engines are pretty cheap but that assumes you can find spares. A shop near me who campaigned 4 or 5 of them back in 2015-2018 was having to do country wide searches for Hyabusa engines at motorcycle scrap yards just to keep the fleet running.
That all makes sense to me and I made similar decision, retired the Turbo from track duty and in the process of procuring anther vehicle. If you can make the numbers work go for it.
