I agree about Rennlist being a great community - I have learnt so much about the turbo in the last couple of years, and have had some truly unique problems that members have assisted me with that I would be very lost without it...

I think you'd enjoy 996outpost.com. It isn't a replacement for Rennlist, as you say, it's just another place to kill some time - you can do both. Really friendly people over there and no membership or sponsorship fees. There's only one rule "Don't be a dick."

was the firings COVID discussion related? people's stress levels have gone up and people who normally agree are calling each other dispicable names. crazy discussions going on. I am trying to avoid most of the news these days...thinking I would like to be in the wilderness at a lake isolated but with my 6turbo and some nice roads to go with it

Great! I see one of the other mods there beat me to activating you. Hopefully some of the others here will show up. My username there is FRUNKenstein. I’m one of the mods there, so if there’s something that bugs you, just let me know. The website was started over 2 1/2 years ago and we have yet to ban anybody. The main thread is the “Good Week in the 996 Forum” (hence my username here), but there are several good topics. Have a sense of humor and be respectful and I think you’ll find that it’s a really nice little corner of the internet for a Porsche owner (it’s not limited to just 996 owners).
Everyone here is welcome over there. Again, 996outpost.com is not intended as a Rennlist substitute - pretty much everyone over there is active on Rennlist as well.
