Well I am sad to say this but my beloved Turbo S was totaled this morning.
I am ok and the other car that hit me the driver and her daughter are ok also.
Will be posting up pictures after work.
She was at fault.

I will be looking for another turbo s cab.

Only 2576 cabs produced for North America. Of those, only 604 Turbo S in 2005. I wonder how many are still on the road without a salvage title?

I had a Ford Escape slowly pull out in front of me this morning while going 50mph - pretty sure I went for the horn before the brakes.

When I finally passed her at the next intersection, she was texting.

she wasn't paying attention to the light and just hit the gas and turned into me.
I didn't have time to even hit the brakes.

I know the hunt for the right car is fun but when you spend close to a year looking and pay good money for the right car this sucks even worse.

yes it did it's job and I am thankful for that, also that no one was hurt.

Makes me sick to see the pics, but... glad you are ok. Testament to engineering that you are safe. Looks like a pretty solid hit.

I did notice it broke the lower front control arm and it did shove the door into the the quarter panel.

good that you're ok. that is a bad accident.
i too was broadsided and totalled my last 996 turbo.

had a replacement within two weeks. count your blessings and GL in the new search.
