We would like to present this 2002 Porsche 996 Turbo that came in for power and suspension upgrades. To optimize horsepower and torque gains, we installed upgrades from COBB Tuning, IPD / Innovative Pro Design, Soul Performance Products, Wagner Tuning and much more. We finished it off with our BBi Autosport Custom Dyno Pro-Tune to make 490 hp /492 tq to the wheels on 100 octane fuel. This represents an increase of 128 hp / 178 tq as the car puts down 362hp / 314 tq with a completely stock powertrain.

BBi 996/997 Turbo Clutch Slave Cylinder
To truly get the most out of these drivetrain upgrades, we replaced the failing factory clutch slave with our BBi conversion kit. BBi 996/997 Turbo GT2 Style Slave Cylinder Conversion Kit. The factory power-assisted clutch system has always been the Achilles heel for the Porsche 997 Turbo.
Utilizing the power steering system to help reduce the force needed to depress the clutch pedal, it is a flawed design that delivers a mushy pedal feel with poor feedback and is highly prone to failure. Our system addresses both of those issues by eliminating the problematic factory power-assist system for improved reliability and pedal feedback. Unlike other kits, our system is designed to be used with OEM clutch master cylinder, hose, and spring pack. This eliminates the need for additional parts, making our kit a complete plug and play solution.
The other kits on the market simply adapt factory 996 GT2 parts with aftermarket brackets and cap off the power steering pump with plugs. Our kit is our very own proprietary design and does not plug the power steering pump because the plugs can fail. Instead, the power steering fluid is routed through the unit to simulate the factory system. This is a must upgrade for the 996 and 997 Turbo to achieve the excellent pedal feedback and reliability similar to that of the Porsche 997 GT2 and GT3 without compromising drivability.

It also allows for faster and sportier gearshifts that make it extremely useful for spirited street tuning and at the track.The start performance is similar to your old original clutch kit (no "on-off" clutch), so this solution is also perfect for a daily driven car. Switching to a lightweight aluminum flywheel from Aasco Motorsports will quicken your throttle response and enhance the feel of your Porsche! These flywheels feature CAD-designed/CNC-machined construction out of 6061-T6 aluminum and a replaceable heat-treated steel friction surface. You can use it with a stock OEM clutch disk for normal street driving or upgrade to a more aggressive kit for the track. Aasco flywheels have been tested to withstand normal everyday use and do not require your ECU to be reprogrammed.

The revolutionary and patented design of the IPD Porsche Plenum improves intake air -flow by replacing the factory plastic "T" style design with a more efficient, precision casted aluminum "Y" design. The fundamental purpose of a plenum is to deliver smoother air at a higher velocity with greater efficiency. The IPD Plenums distributes the air -flow more effectively while reducing pressure drop at the throttle body inlet by utilizing a true merge collector and dimpled interior surfacing. The result will be smooth and linear power with considerably quicker boost response creating a longer and more desirable power band.

- Simple Installation: Everything is included for the simple installation you can do in your driveway! Intuitive on-screen instructions identify your exact vehicle, saves stock vehicle data, and displays available OTS maps.
- Change Maps: Store up to 100 maps from our OTS map database or from your favorite COBB tuner and quickly switch between them for any need.
- Vehicle Upgrade Support: As you continue to modify your car, Accessport maps can be used to optimize performance upgrades. Changing the map can be done in less than 1 minute in your driveway.
- In Car Mount: The Accessport can be mounted in vehicle to allow you to monitor the performance data.
- Data Logging: Record multiple data channels simultaneously for in-depth evaluation of engine performance. Stores up to 1 hour of continuous data.
- Gauges: Use your Accessport as a gauge to monitor boost or any other live information, directly from the ECU.
