Key fob stopped working for alarm, but car still started. Bought a PST2 and we found the fob even though the red light lit up, the board was bad. Bought a new key and reprogramed it and another key. First thing I did do was check the fuses on the panel and the M535 under the seat. Nice to have working keys again.

Does the PST2 have a specific “key diagnostic” menu item which allowed you to determine the key’s logic board was bad, or did you make the determination by trying to reprogram the key and the key refused to take any programming commands? Just curious how the troubleshooting process went with the tool.
