Question Anyone familiar with Lumar?

I am investigating clear shields like Stongard and 3M's product.
My closest Stongard installer is reccommending a new product
made by Lumar.
I have read many favorable comments, on this and other boards,
for Stongard ,but if something is better I'm all ears.

didnt know lumar made stonechip film but there tint is supposed to be the BEST!!
Paint protection film is more about the installer and his experience than about the film (although the 3M does yellow...). Make sure hes done another 996 before as the bumper is tough

I have had Llumar window films in the past, never any problems.

Regardless of window film/tint or paint protection film... it will always be more about the installer than the actual film. If either film goes bad on you after so many years, take it off and do it over again. Either way replacing the film is cheaper and easier than replacing a faded interior or repainting a bumper and hood.

Thanks for the replies. The installer told me that Llumar had the best
window tint material and he was excited when they introduced the stonechip film product.
He is the only authorized Stonegard installer(stonechip for that matter)in my vicinity, so I'll have to use his references as a guidline.

msindi,
I did mean Stongard, I mispelled on last entry.
Installer is Solar Shade , I do not know his url, I have had phone conversations.
I was refered to them by the Stongard distributor in Ohio.
If you would like phone # I'll be happy to PM to you.
He is quoting $600 for a Turbo front end .
