They fixed the immobilizer on my 993. I sent my remote in with my ECU. I almost had to press the remote against the window before the repair. Now it works from 20 feet. Hopefully they have some advice that will help your range issue. You probably don’t want to involve the ECU but maybe they can just address the remote itself.

One more question, can the radio antenna be improved in a similar way. Its signal receiving power is a way poorer than new cars nowadays
Or is there any cheap ways to improve it?
Thks

Use a high quality battery in the remote and use your skull as a radio wave extender.

I just tried it on my Turbo, and it didn't provide any additional range. Once outside the consistent function range, it didn't matter where I held the key; all positions and orientations were equally inconsistent until I arrived at a distance where no positioning worked at all.
It doesn't really matter to me what the maximum range of the key unlock function is because I don't need the doors or luggage compartment unlocked until I'm right at the car.

Your skull shape must not be conducive to this method.

I've seen two different skulls here trying this out, and I certainly fall into the normal range when compared to these two guys.
When outside consistent functional range and inside the non-functional range, I got the remote to work as many times holding it at arms length beside me as I did holding it against my chest, or temple, or chin.
