Hi. I am attaching 2 links to websites that still have them in stock it appears. They are supposed to be all sold out and I was lucky to buy a new set on eBay from a company that was cleaning house and got rid of all their parts. The second link/option I like better and even though it says they are for a 997.2 Turbo, they would fit perfectly fine on a 996 Turbo as well. As soon as I saw this particular door sill in one of the online images when I bought my car, it is all I really wanted and, so I waited and out of nowhere a set appeared on eBay. They just look really nice and clean IMO and just look like they belong in the car with the unique step-like design. Hope this helps.

Hi. Yes, those look identical to mine and you can see them even better with the aftermarket wheels on your friends car. Looks awesome. In my honest opinion, Porsche should have made acid green calipers an option on 996 Turbos back in the day when they first sold new. Especially on seal gray, silver, and black cars. Make the car stand out way more than the stock red ones and look much better too. Not that there is anything wrong with red, but this is just my preference. In person they look even better.

In 2004 you could spec the calipers in speed yellow (standard brakes/steel discs).

Hi. Although I can see how and why many Porsche owners like yellow calipers on their cars and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that option, it’s just not for me. Just like my acid green calipers; they are definitely not everyones cup of tea and I totally understand. I prefer red over yellow as well as it goes better with most Turbo colors. Same thing with guards red and speed yellow Porsches in general. Many people love the color, but for me it would be a deal breaker. But what do I know, my Turbo is one of the most common, boring colors there is; seal gray. 😜👍👌

Lets see how long it takes before someone asks you if your Porsche is a hybrid. I like the look.

I really like our cars a lot, like genuinely like them; everything about them. So much fun owning them...there is something you can do with it every day. Whether it’s washing and detailing it (for me it’s therapeutic), obviously driving it, watching it appreciate and depreciate, read other people’s opinions about it, meet new people in most random of places because they start a conversation asking about it, tweaking it here and there, sourcing parts when something breaks, finding best Indy shops you can trust. It’s just a very healthy relationship for me and I really don’t think there is a better bargain for a car of this caliber out there. I get that the 997.1/2 T is a more modern car, is more refined etc. but at (almost) double the price of a 996T, there are similar enough to where there is no comparison currently when it comes to the best bang for your buck. I’d take our 996 T’s all day every day and twice on Sunday. 😜

Acid green calipers on a 911 means it's a special edition to me.

Hi. Name of the shop is JRWheel and gentlemans/owners name is Luis. They are located in Garden Grove (OC/Los Angeles area) and Luis is the nicest guy ever. He listens, does exactly what you ask for, is a perfectionist and most importantly, takes care of customers cars better than his own. I was beyond happy. When I showed up to pick up the car, seats were covered, center console was covered and when I asked why, he said even though they don’t do anything on the inside and they only move the car from the parking lot to the garage, things happen and he wants to avoid customers cars getting damaged/blemished at all cost. 90% of his customers are Tesla owners, but he’s worked on Maybachs, Porsches, and all kinds of other high end vehicles. Ive read all of the reviews and there wasn’t one unhappy customers or a complaint, so it was a no brainer to take it there especially after I saw customers posting pictures and the quality of work. Same day completion, which meant I dropped the car off early in the AM and picked it up around 1PM. The cost is $300 out the door, which is insane with a 1 year warranty. The only thing that sucked was driving the 70/80 miles from San Diego to Garden Grove and then hanging out for 6/7hours while waiting. Ended up going to the local Starbucks and then saw the new Terminator. 😂😜
