Looks like everyone's hard at work

Before the end of the first week, it was no longer identifiable as a 'pig stress ball thingy', rather it looked like a mass of stress foam.
By the end of the second week, it was falling apart in my hands...
Now they try and ply me with chocolate...
I like the folks here too; there are quite a few interesting characters on the boards for sure!!!

I studied behavioral psychology in university, thought I'd be good at being a jury consultant, came out of school, was made an offer I couldn't refuse and have been working in oil/gas/pipelines etc. ever since. As they say, the best laid plans...
If you're happy, good on you - it's better than being miserable and doing something you despise.

Pro game you say...? I hate it when the 7 year old continues to wax you, seemingly instantaneously, when you are playing your fave shooter...

The best part of my job now is that i move around all day instead of sit in a chair staring at a screen for 12 hours.

That's crazy; I only play one game, COD, Ghosts for the last 5 years and I'm trying to get all 10 MP dudes through 60lvls... and I'm not kidding about the average 7 year old...
I'm not good at it. I use it as a way of unwinding until the 7yo gets the better of me once too often. Then I'm pissed and turn it off. Come to think of it, probably the reason I've been at it so long...
So, you don't play at all now?

For me, work eventually got in the way of doing things that I enjoy much more than the work; things that have far less pressure, stress, and demands on my time, and that bring much greater enjoyment than my job did.
