Has anyone installed Drone Mobile (remote start) on their Porsche?

We have it on our other vehicles, and really like it - but aren't sure if it's wise to install such a system on an old Porsche. Of course, a local company says they can install it, but...
Here are the details:
We have a 996 (2001).
We live in a super cold climate, so it would be great to be able to start it remotely (especially if we are out of town), but we also don't want to risk messing with the electrical (or other) system.
Thoughts? Experiences?
Thanks so much!

If the installer knows what he's doing there should be no issue at all installing the system on a 996TT. The car's age will have little or no effect on the operation.

my advise is to make sure who ever installs it really knows what they are doing.
I have never seen an aftermarket remote starter installed nicely. always hacked up
