Default Turbo / Turbo S?

I know this thread may not last long, but I have a general Turbo complaint. First, some context. My other favorite car company, BMW, has gone the way of the dodo bird and start putting ///M on every single car they make. YES, I understand its all marketing and $$$ making.

I gritted my teeth and bared the Panamera, Cayenne, and Macon. I told myself, self, they are just funding the ‘real’ core of the brand the 911. BUT NOW the Taycan! No, I am not upset its electric, but why oh why why why why put the Turbo and Turbo S badge on these cars? Really Porsche? Really? (im crying while I write this)

WHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYY? A turbo badge on an electric car…..whhhhyyyyy. Wait, does this mean i can go and put a RS badge on my TT and just call it good?

Signed, old dinosaur who wants everything to remain the same (mostly everything)..or at the very least don’t add FAKE badges.

Okay, im done.

Prolly a joke or a pilot.
Same thing with turbo s exclusive only in gold.
It pretty much shows someone has an even more expensive car than a normal turbo s.

But as a first gen iteration its a bit wierd they have a turbo badge on an electric car. As if they want to give the turbo badge a prestige instead like when it was a turbo back when there was a 911 carrera na and 911 turbo turbocharged.

Like the turbo is now actually a trim level instead of
A 911 with turbos.

IMO, when Porsche turbocharged the base 911 they forfeited their ability to market (and badge) the "911 Turbo" as a 911 turbo, as they're all turbos now.

Welcome to the new millennium. How about M5 badges on a Ford Focus. This link has some classic fakes on non M BMWs.

yes, i didn't mention that fact...i didn't want to come off as being too harsh. But yes, i heard a "youtubber" say the other day..."they are all turbos now, what does it matter."

Maybe a "Turbo-er" or "Turbo-s-er" badge is appropriate.

But now....smh

I think scavenging the exhaust gases of an all-electric car for more power is a fabulous idea!

Zero lag at least...

Eh as long as it isnt fake badged people can mod their exterior whatever they want. Like v6 camaros with zl1bumper because they like the look.
Or gt2 kit for our turbos. But when they rebadge and say its what it isnt then to me thats laughable.

While people can obviously modify their cars in whatever way that is legal, I see the addition of exterior parts from other brand models as a first cousin to fake badges.

Opinions will vary.
