As long as you have a plan to test and set it. I expect it will be like any other ring/pinion setup except the pinion depth cannot be adjusted.

Backlash is very easy to check. I use something similar to this to set up gears on non-transaxles. Im pretty sure it will work for a porsche box. There r even cheaper mag base arms but it may be hard to find a good surface under the car.

Hoping this project would be smooth sailing but it looks like I’ve run into an issue. After the recent conversations here t about mesh/ alignment and stuff, decided to take some measurements and found some issues. I’ll be calling Matt to see how I can proceed. I like to be positive and this is still progress and is hopefully getting us closer to a solution.

Machined solution will be necessary. Spoke to Guard yesterday, sending him pics and measures today. Hopefully it’s something that can be done.

Did the front LSD give you a noticeable improvement? On what exactly? Wondering because this could be an option as well for my tip
