Default Flex Disk

I had a chance to get under my car today while the new tires were going on. I took off the panels to have a look and my flex disk is toast. That probably explains my strange vibration and clunk. Anyone know of a DIY thread for replacement? Cheers.

It is just that easy. The hardest part I found was trying to keep a round cardan shaft still while torquing the bolts on the flexdisc. In hindsight, I guess I could have remounted the cardan shaft and then torqued the bolts. The service manual also recommends that you replace the bellows on the front diff if you remove the cardan shaft. I bought a new one to replace but found I could pull the old one off without issue and reuse it. I used the new one just because I had it. If you are careful, you should be able to reuse that part. And lastly, there is a recommended lube for the reinsertion of the cardan shaft splines into the front diff. The free service manual will walk you through the steps, tell you what you need, and give you the torque specs. I recommend you start there.
