Default ABS/ PSM / Check engine

Hi,

Got the above listed warnings after i changed plugs/coils. I read these codes from with my obd machine;
p0103, p1250, p1508
The abs/psm warning comes after a while on ideling, the check engine/limp mode comes when i push the trhotlle and the boost is about to come..
(tried cleaning the MAF sensor)

any help would be super..

best regards
thomas

P0103 Mass Air Flow Sensor
♦ Intake air system on pressure side (between turbocharger and engine) leaks
♦ Short circuit to B+
♦ Mass air flow sensor faulty
♦ Throttle jacking unit faulty

P1250 Boost Pressure Control Deviation
♦ Bypass flaps incorrectly adjusted
♦ Turbocharger faulty

P1508 408 Torque comparison function monitor - signal implausible
♦ DME control module faulty

First thing I'd do is rest the codes and drive it to see if they return.

If they do, the MAF may be installed incorrectly or it is fried. Have you done a pressure test of the system?
Have you done a throttle adaptation?
♦ Switch on the ignition
♦ Wait one minute
♦ Do not press the accelerator
♦ Switch off the ignition for at least 10 seconds

Did the recalibration with no luck.
Also erased the codes but they do come back.

i’m hopping there is only a legal since i had borg intercoolera etc out for the plug change..

car was running fine before i changed plugs/coil..

not done a pressure test, not sure how to proceed?

Boost leak somewhere? Recheck all hose fittings from plug change. Including the airbox.

Thanks for all replies,

I took it all apart and found that the clip for the hose into left intercooler was not seated correctly, hence a leak.. Just got confused with the abs/psm warnings etc..

best regards

The ABS/PSM warning is triggered by so many different things.

Glad to hear you got it sorted out!

Yup, i was overthinking what you guys meant with boost-check..

anyhow sincerely thanks for all replies, such a resource for us DIY / hobbymechanics to be able to confere with all you guys and the knowledge you possess.. (and the most polite forum I’ve visited thus far)

I’ll attache some **** as a thanks.. I always appretiate some photos in the threads)

In 2001 the brand new car was actually sent directly from the dealership to the techart factory and was uppgraded with turbos, intercoolera, some fuel stuff, ecu, wheels, wings, skirt etc.. It’s got 95000km’s on the clock and still has the original clutch..

tech-art stuff always looks "right" ( correct? ) to me for the car.
