In my M5, I cut pieces of foam to fit, dyed them the color of my interior then pressed them in place. Nothing goes down. Haven’t done anything for the TT. I’m not in it as much.
I used to think that too, but after years of carrying some cash with me and never needing to use it I gave it up.
Some places like gas stations here give you a cash discount and I like to carry cash around so I can tip waiters so they dont have to report it. Also I don't use tollroads all that much so if I have to use one I carry some coins.

It isn't worth my trouble to get cash for a gas station discount.
My answer to avoiding all the time and effort required to fish out coins dropped between the seat and console of any vehicle I owned was to stop carrying coins.
As for tipping, I think it's good for all working people to do their part and pay taxes. That way they may become more aware of the confiscatory tax codes and might even be motivate to be more aware of who they vote into office.
I could care less about dropping coins down there. Inevitably my sun glasses, credit cards, and even cell phone would at sometime slip down between the seats. That's when I inserted the foam to act as a blocker.
Back in the day I had a LS430. These had a piece of cloth between the console and seat to prevent items from falling down , great idea, I have not see it replicated since.
I saw these on Shark Tank and immediately bought them for everyone in my family. Great invention and has ended the agony of dropping my phone etc down there and cussing myself as I scraped my knuckles digging it out.
