Hello. Owner of new to me 2001 996TT, 73k miles, Orient Red and, I assume, Savanna Beige? I am attatching code sheet and quick photo. Thanks, guys. Seats are not in best condition. Trying to decide on replacement or reupholstery...
I had one of the seat bottoms on a previous Porsche replaced under warranty. The dealership ordered the seat bottom from the factory and the color matched perfectly with the other leather. The piece was already fully sewed up when it arrived from the factory, and the fit on the seat was perfect. If the seat is reupholstered without using factory sewn leather then the measuring, cutting and sewing skill levels of the upolsterer is critical in achieving a good outcome.
