The RoW suspension lowers a stock U.S. 996 Turbo 20mm in the front and 10mm in the rear.

I'd totally be up for that! I'm around this Friday-Sunday, just let me know. Paul, did you want to come over this weekend? I'd like to do a quick boost leak test...

That's pretty much exactly what I'd be looking for...

I am assuming the H&Rs lower the car more?

roughly an inch f/r. unless of course they are "worn" and "sagging" and.. well, never mind.

I think it presents a good stance.

I had ROW springs and they sat very nice. Pretty low too.

Does Eibach or anyone else make springs for our car? I've had good success with H&Rs during my Mustang days, but it would be nice to have some readily available options on spring rates and lowering / stance without having to go to coilovers.

AFAIK, H&R street version is a 1.25" drop front & rear. Eibach, Vogtland springs are about the same. TechArt springs are just rebranded H&R.

I believe that much of a drop really requires different shocks because of the change in suspension travel.

In installing the H&R springs, the Bilstein B8 shocks are recommended. The higher spring rate of the H&Rs should be matched by a higher rebound valving on the shocks that the B8s have. Some have said that H&R springs on stock or B6 shocks are jouncy, other have said they are fine. The B8 shocks also have a 1" shorter shock shaft to control the suspension travel. The body is the same length so the bump stop is still in the same place. H&Rs with B8s is the "low cost" upgrade of choice.

that correlates to my experience, but H&R references a 1.0 inch drop in their white papers. however, this also supports my contention that springs are prone to sagging.

that said, MO30's ( or B8's ) and H&R reds are the perfect compromise btw expensive coilovers and sh*t "oem" stock setups. i say lol.

All I want are the springs. I don't see the need to spend a premium for oem shocks/struts that I don't want
