You could be completely correct! I don't have any data to make any claims either way....but I do know variation from molding and laminating processes can be significant. But by all means carry on.

Even if that's the case, I don't see how that would play into decision-making? Are you going to ask Discount Tire to measure each tire, and put together a bespoke matched set for you? At the end of the day, the specs are the specs.

Not likely. So put your head in the sand and ignore the real measures of your tires when mounted on your car...completely your decision. At the end of the day, you can ignore variation or understand it.

Bottom line, Put some stock size wheels on your car with stock size Michelin N4 rated PS2s and you will not have any problems. The only viable complaint i have ever seen about them is the cost, or maybe someone thinks they are not aggressive enough because they are so quiet.

No need to patronize. So you measure your tires after you get them? I have never heard of anyone doing this, and still don't understand what you are suggesting.
