Which firm have you found to be the best enclosed truck shipping company -- I need two special cars moved across country.

Thanks.

Exotic Car Transport is by far the best I have ever encountered. I would say we have shipped over 20 cars with them and never had a problem with any of them. They are almost always on time with schedualed date, very friendly, and most important reasonably priced.

Evan

Robert, I know of one company that uses only carbon fiber
trucks and trailers. very nice trucks everything is CF except the
tires and motor....wait that was a dream after reading one
of your threads.
I used Intercity. Real good -the trucks were nice and clean
and I got to talk to the driver daily and arranged for an early
pickup once they got close. Very easy to deal with.

I used Concours Transport and they were flawless. They got there earlier than they first communicated and I was on the phone with the owner of the company on a daily business. Give Fred Koller a call at 702.361.1928. I am just a very satisfied customer and I am one of those paranoid guys when it comes to transporting nice cars. I had my 97 993TT truck from Kansas City to the SF bay area.

Robert:

Newman International is transporting my 2004 Turbo Cab from Jacksonveill to Marina del Rey. They are very professional and they do contract work for Porsche.

I have previously shipped with them and never a problem. Ask for Giselle or Bill Newman and give them my name.

Hi Bob:

We've used Concours Transport for years and Fred gives VERY good service.

I've seen mega-million dollar cars inside these transporters and they take equal care with everything.

I am going to ship my car to Stephen and he recommended Concours Transport....I think they shipped Alex's car for the shootout too so he might be able to chime in

i've probably used about 6 to 10 different ones.

i used passport (fed ex owned) once and the car was about a week late. the driver called every day with a new excuse. however, the car arrived in good condition.

intercity experiences have been flawless and they have thus far been the fastest transporter i've ever used.

the most important thing i'd tell you is do NOT choose based on price! the extra time, damage, stress, inconvenience, etc will eat up your $ savings quickly.

I have a cousin who shipped her car with the lowest bidder (a freight consolidator) and she was SORRRRRY.

In addition to being about a week late, they refused to deliver door-to-door as the contract stated. She had to drive 50 miles to go pick her car up from the storage yard.

Excellent experience with Intercity and Concours. Prefer Concours due to "Fred", the owner, a "no B.S." guy.
Both are very good, but it's nice to be able to talk to the owner of the business.
