Default What can I really expect if I get a 2004 Turbo Cab?

Looking to get back in the game after selling my 911. Have looked at both the 911 and the Boxster. Then I came across a 2004 Turbo Cab that caught my eye. One owner and only 27,500 miles. Not much information in the listing, but it does say custom wheels. Asking $50,000.

I can go see the car, test drive it and have it looked at by a mechanic. But I don't think one test drive will tell me everythnig. So, what can I really expect from the car if I bought it? Similar experience to a non-turbo 911? Totally different than a non-turbo 911? Maintenance costs more? I've only ever had one 911 and I didn't own it for that long, but really liked it.

Would appreciate any thoughts you guys might want to share.

Thanks. RJ

HRE wheels are nice, but a bit pricey - and... it is an auto. Low miles are always good, if it's your thing, have someone go through it, properly.

The gt3, gt2, and tt all share the mezger 3.6 engine. Entirely different from overhyped ims on the na 996’s engine. Jeremy got that part wrong in the video.

If I bought that car the first thing to go would be the “custom wheels”.

Driving a turbo is the only convincing you’ll need. Esp a tuned one.

I love the cab, it is such a pleasure when you hit that perfect combo of air temp, sun position, traffic, etc. The other day I must have looked like a moron driving down the freeway with a big smile on my face. Sometimes I actually laugh out loud when driving this thing. Never gets old because my DD is a POS.

I have a great DD, but the Turbo Cab is all about the PermaGrin™

Coupes are great, but the option of putting the top down is irreplacerable.

Carving Mulholland after sundown when it's 79 in LA and the jasmine is in the air... sublime.
