Default Rein motor mount part number.

Can anyone confirm if the Rein AVE0382P is the correct mount for the 996 Turbo?

Mike,

You could get it directly from FCP Euro with a life time warranty on it for less money.

Thanks for the info. Has anyone been able to confirm if there is any difference between the mounts for the Turbo are the same as the rest of the 996’s. Rein mounts don’t seem to differentiate between the 993-375-049-09 and the -08 like the Porsche branded mounts do.

Warehouse33auto.com shows the -08 for the NA 996 and -09 for the 996TT. Both are same price at $79.98 each, so I would just order the -09. If you order from Warehouse33auto.com , don't forget to use promo code "996outpost" or "rennlist" to get a 10% discount.

for about 100$ more you could buy a set of torque solutions semi solid mounts which are 10 times better than stock

I want to stick with OE or OE style mounts. I am not looking to stiffen things up as this car is a weekend car that I will not be tracking. I am certainly familiar with the benefits of stiffer mounts but I am not willing to increase NVH levels. Guess I’m getting old!!!

I went with RSS semi-solids. Not much NVH at all. I found it an improvement. More induction noise, a pleasant subtle engine vibration through the steering wheel, similar to older 911s.

nvh is minimal at best. the added benifits are they last much longer than the oem liquid filled units and add some room in the bay for better i/c hoses

After exhaustive internet research I have decided to go with the Rein mounts (AVE0832P). Seems to be interchangeable with the OEM turbo part number. Got them shipped for under 200$ CAD. Found numerous threads stating that they are exactly the same as the OEM mounts from the dealer so figured I can’t go wrong.

Has anyone actually looked inside one yet? Rein sells elastomer filled mounts in the same packaging as the OEM hydraulic mounts but for 1/3-the price. So I am little dubious of the "exactly the same" claim from some of those threads.

Quick Reply: Rein motor mount part number.
