Help! CEL is on, but I don't think its exhaust

revisiting an old thread here...
I had a similar issue.
A strange throbbing/thrumming sound when under high boost/throttle which iks followed by a CEL.
The last time i brought the car in they checked it out said everything was fine, but told me that i rev my car lot and that porsche may deny any warrantee claims in the future.
This pissed me off of course, so i took it easy on the car. well yesterday, i'm driving and the same thing happens.
could this be a div valve prob?
i have an appt w/ hoehn fri

OEM plastic of course. Stupid dealer didn't tell me what the problem was until AFTER they fixed it, otherwise I would have insisted on the upgraded part.

Saw on the other board that you are modifying your car, just curious as I see that you have a shop, why don't you do a dyno run before and after rather than seat of the pants dyno? It might be too late already as they have already started working on your car but it would have been interesting as this is the best way of knowing exactly the difference.
