Default Exhaust on your 996TT

What aftermarket exhaust do you guys have? Looking for something thats not super lound when inside the car for daily driving. Yes, I daily drive my car to work.

I used to drive a 03 C2 and installed the Fabspeed
exhaust. That lasted 2 weeks cause I couldnt stand how loud it was inside the car. I ended up just doing the Fister exhaust stock conversion.

Thanks

Europipe Stage II Loud. They used to make a "Quiet", but I'm not sure about their offerings these days.

Europipe here also, they only make 1 version now for the 996TT. Been running it for about a month, very satisfied and dealing with Stef is a pleasure.

I've been running the Kline exhaust for 3+ years. With 200 cell cats, super quiet inside and not too loud outside. With de-cats, it has a pretty good roar at WOT, but not too loud on the inside. Very happy with my choice.

Just drove 1200 miles this weekend, 10 hours in the car last night with my wife in a 3" catless x pipe w/ no mufflers. Sure it's loud but that's the point. Still totally tolerable to me. 3" EB Werks.

Speedtech 3", headers, 100 cell cats, no mufflers, ceramic coated - sounds awesome, but I am also half deaf, so it may sound better than I think it does...

I'm also enamored if the Kline w 200 cats.. or you can run the decats and even moah powah. Best sound performance price combo package I know of.

See sambo.

I have a Ruf 100 cel and have no drone, although at full throttle it screams like an F1 engine. Ruf uses a stock exhaust and modifies the internals not sure what is done to create the "scream"
.

Here's a video my son did as a course project back when he was in high school. It's my 996 Turbo with the Europipe exhaust.

While the sound an exhaust makes when listened to from outside the car is not unimportant to me, the sound it makes inside the car when I'm driving is more important. I think the interior sound is difficult to record well.

not to bad. you can carry on a conversation unless your into the boost. the turbos scream louder than the exhaust and spool so fast you really dont pay attention to anything but the road. exhaust sound ois definatley personal choice. some like loud some dont. for me drone is the enemy not the noise
