I sold my 996TT to make room for a 997.2 GT3 RS, way more raw.

I did the same in 2013 and never looked back. I did, however add a 996TT again last year (but just sold it for an incoming 997 GT2).

I've been thinking about this a lot recently as I'm in the market for a new DD to replace my S8 and have also been thinking about a more dedicated track car to take over the 6TT's track duties. The problem is that the 996TT is so versatile and such a great price point. I've been looking at 997/991 3/3RS, but I feel like it wouldn't be as fun on the street (because no turbos), and I'm not sure I'd want to regularly flog a $150k+ car around the track. So ideally I would have a higher HP 911 turbo for the street, and some sort of dedicated track car (whether it be a GT4 clubsport or an RS car, or maybe something else). For a DD, I'm very tempted by newer E63/S63 (with some Weistec goodies, of course).

interesting. What made you want a 997 gt2? I have a 7.2rs and it’s awesome. I sold my 997 turbo s after only 6 months. Not sure why it didn’t excite me more, but it didn’t. Also have 6tt. My buddy had a black gt2 in his shop a couple of weeks ago and that car was sooo sweet.

The new mid engine Vette is likely next. I'll have a front engine sports car, rear engine, and a mid engine. It's all about balance...and the 850 horsepower version will be a socially irresponsible car, and I want it.

I really like c5/6 z06s and gt350s
Been looking for a good 2013 z06
But I'm having trouble finding a good one for less than the price of a used 14 stingray lol.

The 14oz New York strip at Los Tamirindos has made a mark on me...

As far as the picture above is concerned, why in the world would someone abuse a perfectly good Porsche in such a way?
