Back on topic...
This thing is tempting me too. '05 gated manual with 14k miles.
If I sell the '63 Nova and the '01 996tt, I'd have room. It wouldn't be nearly as fast as the 996 I've built though...

The guy I bought my 996TT from had one of these in white. It wasn't a gated 6 speed however I wasn't really that impressed with the ride or interior of the car. It was my first time in a Lambo and I was pretty sad to say I wasn't all that impressed. Now that being said, the sound of the V10 was epic. I DO fully agree that the 6 speeds will likely hold their value a lot better.

This particular example has some really nice upgrades and a much nicer than normal interior. Dang thing looks new inside. The gauges and electronics are dated these days tho.
*Autographed by Valentino Balboni
*Giallo Midas (pearl yellow)
*Alcatara suede leather with yellow stitching.
*Red calipers
*Clear bonet
*Front lift system
*Factory Navigation
*Superleggera OEM wheels
(also have the regular wheels)
*LP560 upgraded front bumper
(also have the stock front bumper)
*Tubi Exhaust
*Fabspeed downpipes
(also have the stock ones)
If I'm smart however, I'll stick with what I've got.

I generally agree with you on older or standard Gallardo's. Interior and tech is dated. It's no better than the 996tt, just different...a more exotic experience perhaps (on the wallet too, I hear).

I've been tempted by these, but now they're getting dated. The 09+ cars are nice with the diff rear lights, but interior still is older Audi. Good and bad. Prob easy to maintain and can't beat the sound. I've been tempted by an r8 too.
