Why wouldn't you read it? It certainly isn't a very long post.

No, I was fairly confident that your narcissism would get in the way.

I didn't think so either, rather self explanatory; I tried not to use many big words.

I'm thinking about three cars these days...

  1. 991.1 GT3, at a tick over $100K.
  2. 2017 991.2 Base, Manual, Coupe, Sport Chrono & sport Exhaust, ~$75K. Add Cobb tune for +100HP and DSC Sport controller
  3. Ferrari F430, ~$90K.

Honestly though, every time I go for a brisk mountain drive in the Turbo, I'm reminded how much I really love it.

Absolutely agree, and apologies for getting off topic.

I just bought my other half one of these, which is entertaining...

Why not an Audi of similar vintage?

Yet, the Gallardo rests on the R8 platform...

Some moons ago, I considered get a R8 V8 - I was taken by the balance and ability to shuffle very quickly.

Then the V10 came... And that motor screams...

So I bought a BMW.

At this point in my life I'm after the V10 sound and bodacious looks of the Lambo.

When I buy the Lambo I think I'll keep it for a year or two and then buy a 458 Italia. I haven't thought much about what's after that. I can assure you though that it won't be an electric car (or hybrid) no matter who manufacturers it.

I can absolutely see that the design of the Lambo over the Audi as a draw.

I am a bit partial to Ferrari... I have a neighbor that has an FF and he drives it year round and loves it. I love it, triple black, tubi exhaust, pure sex. I don't really fit in the smaller Ferraris.

I cannot really place what my next one will be, I am fortunate in that I have everything I have ever wanted. And after driving the TT around the interior for the last few days, I can never see getting rid of it, it brings true joy to me and I think that the next purchase has to be on the same level.

I have promised not to offer an opinions on the deployment of electrons, in whatever form....

Any sport car that I buy will be in addition to my 996 Turbo.
