Default Performance difference in exhaust sizes?

so currently I have a fabspeed gen 3 exhaust with no cats. It’s a great system, overall sounds great. With my current tune and car setup, I like that I get the hotboy flames out my exhaust. Only problem is it’s coming out of one side. So maybe the one muffler is starting to fail(?) so I’ve done my research on potential upgrades and I’ve looked and noticed that there’s 2.75 inch exhaust (like I have) and 3 inch exhaust. Will there be any difference in flow with the extra 1/4 inch? I’ve been eyeing up the soul exhaust because it just looks so damn good for the price.

Exhaust size is dependent on your power goals. Going larger is not always better. Especially when you primarily enjoy your car street driving. I know it doesn't take much to get to the 500 range and I actually forget what range you want to step up to a 3". I want to say its close with in that range.

For turbo cars, bigger is always better, but sometimes it is diminishing returns depending on where you are at (or your goal) power wise.

As Chris said, with turbo exhaust, bigger is always better, Apples to apples with the only difference being 2.75 and 3.0", I doubt you'd be able to discern any difference at the 500-600hp level especially if you are running relatively small catalysts. For lunatics there is always 3.5"...
