03 04 Suspension compatibility?

03 04 Suspension compatibility?
I’m thinking about purchasing the following from fellow rennlister BlackBear. https://rennlist.com/forums/parts-ma...-8k-miles.html
The part number for my 03 don’t match the part numbers in the listing (from an 04), nor is there an indication the 04 part# supersedes the 03 part number. BlackBear has encouraged me to look at non OE parts and cross references the applicability to 03 and 04 ( I checked the Bilstein PSS10 coilover kit, and Bilstein replacement struts, both of which have the same part numbers for both 04 and 03.)
Does anyone have any insight into the compatibility between the 03 and 04 suspension parts, or why the part numbers may vary? The 04 parts seem to be ok for 03 4/S, 02 4/S and Turbo. Go figure. https://www.sonnenporscheoemparts.co...ut-99634304344.

all 996tt have identical suspension fitment 2001-2005

am doing suspension replacement on a 2002 6tt tomorrow if you need any pics/references...

I took a look at that ad...I don't think I'd spend $650 on stock stuff that old when there are better options available for not a lot more. Esp. if you want to drive...
