Default "clunking" noise in the front end when cornering hard side to side

Hi, wondering if anyone else has had this issue in there 996TT?
I sounds like something is loose in the front end, I just had all the suspension changed out and still the noise is there. it sounds like the jack is loose in the front and slamming to the left and right when jerking the steering wheel in hard cornering like on an autocross track,

We had it up on a lift for hours yesterday after the suspension was replaced and new swaybars with drop links and new LCA's the mechanic war worried the rack and pinion was loose not sure what to do about it.

hoping someone can direct me to the source of the problem if they have had a similar issue.

Possible strut mount bearing.

Good thinking on the strut bearing. Also; Are your top strut nuts tight? Are your swaybar endlinks binding/making contact with your uprights?

I would check under the carpet up in the frunk to see if something fell in there and is sliding back and forth between the carpet and the metal body

I have replaced the shocks with coil overs, new swayer, new lower control arms , new end links, and still same noise, shop said the street mounts were still fine.

Just wanted to say thank you for sharing the outcome of your post. My car was making a banging noise on cornering so checking the battery saved me so much time. An Independent Porsche specialist here in Auckland (Aero) never secured the battery back in place after replacing it and lost the battery locking bracket so let it float around in the bay. They did the same with the fuel pump in the engine bay and that was clattering around too. You saved me a lot of diaggnostics :-) Much appreciated
