Just received my function first shifter (997 long throw shifter). Here is a comparison of the difference between that and the B&M short shifter. Both installed with a billet shifter linkage. B&M moves around abit in the forward and aft directions. Posting this for all the people wondering which one to get.

My B&M shifter (with Shiftlink) doesn't move around nearly that much.
