Default How to reset the Emergency Hood latch release

So I had to use the emergency hood release cable on the passenger side wheel well. Now I can't seem to get the hood to latch all the way down anymore. Is there some special reset tab I need to do since I used the cable?
Any advice is welcome and thank you.
Matt

Sounds like it is sticking. I would spray some WD-40 on the latch mechanism and work/pull the emergency cable to free things up.

Yes, I put some silicone done in there and played with the latch some and the hood now latches. I have to push pretty hard on the porsche crest to latch the hood.. Probably need to make an adjustment.

there are rubber stoppers in the front corners that adjust up and down I believe. Sounds like you may need to screw one or both down a bit.

DO NOT press on the crest to close the hood. You will bend it into a potato chip. Press closer to the edge of the hood. between the crest and the edge.

Was just about to post this - pushing on the crest is a great way to crack it and screw up the hood underneath it. It's stronger in the gap between the crest and the edge.
