Default Winter Tire Dilema on 996 Turbo 19"

I was looking for a good winter wheel/tire set up and was leaning towards 18" custom set up from forgeline but the only tires available that were within Spec were Pirelli Winter Sports, and I did not like the look of the tread.

So... on the advice of a fellow Rennlister on here I went with 19" wheels and Michelin Alpin 4 tires in a 285/30/19 and a 245/25/19
all was well and I ordered the wheels ( non returnable of course , as I found out later ) in 19x10" rear and 19 x 8.5" front in the correct offset that Forgestar does on 19" wheels for 996 Turbos.
once the wheels and tires arrive and were mounted the rears fit great, but the fronts would only turn less than a quarter tun of the steering wheel before touching the inner fender liner in the front and rear of the front wheels arch! so I took the tires back to Discount tire and have not messed them since, but I have $1800 invested in a set of rims I can't use! someone told me that pirelli sottozero outer circumference and width for the same tire (245/35/19 ) is less and may fit wouthout touching, can anyone confirm this
I have a set od rear 285/30/19 sottozgeros and a set of 235/35/19 Front Sotozeros that will fit but am hesitant to install them as I dont want to damage the transfer case with the tires with different circumference.

can anyone confirm the circumference and tire width difference between the michelin Alpin PA4 and the Pirelli Sottozero in the size 245/35/19?

any help would be great! I am running stock suspension also and the michelin was also very close to the spring collar.

Why did you go with 10” rear wheel?

10” is Porsche recommended for snows.
tirerack has tire specs for all tires listed if you look under the brand names.

becuase 10" rear is the size to run a 285/30/19

Im not worried about the rears, the front is the issue
