Default what wheel widths for 996 TT/C4S?? tia

Just wondering what the wheel widths are for 996 TT and C4S.

Additionally, what are the most narrow and widest that work well
with these wheels?

Just wondering for...
Winter tire size...I presume 265/35 r and 225/40 f

for track or summer tire, could you go 235 or even 245 front?
On rear, is 275 through 305/315 ok?

Thanks in advance.

Standard wheels:

8" x 18" - ET50 - 225/40-18
11" x 18" - ET45 - 295/30-18

No point in changing widths unless you apply more downforce to compensate for lost pounds per square inch.

Winter wheels:

8" x 18" - ET50 - 225/40-18
10" x 18" - ET47 - 265/35-18

thank you.

with your statement in mind about adding downforce, I take it that most people opt for the Mich. PSCs since the stock sizes are readily available...?

I noticed hoosiers max at 275 and also wondered if some like to go 285 rear/235 front to dial out understeer a bit...

Like I said, there is no point in adding more rubber if you do not compensate for the pounds per square inch. The larger footprint of a 235 will do nothing more if you have the same force pushing it down against the pavement.

235/40-18 (25.2 OD) and 315/30-18 (25.4 OD) should work OK on stock Turbo rims.
