New Michelin P4S sizes, but not what we need
Michelin released a lot more 18" sizes but sadly nothing that will work in the rear. I was hoping that they'd give us a track/street alternative to the overpriced ancient tire that is the PS2.

Thanks for the update, I was badly hoping the same.
Guess I won't get my hopes up about the future sizes.
Looks like I'm getting another set of RT615K+'s.

I'm between the RT615K+ or the Rival S. I'm certainly not impressed with the PS2 enough to spend another $125 per tire. Looking around the pits at auto-x it seems like the Rival S is a popular choice.

Wow total disregard for the 996 crowd by Michelin. I was hoping they would offer a 315/30r18 but they aren't even offering the 295. I don't think the Rival S has a heavy enough load rating for the P cars. I need to order some new tires after shredding my PS2's this weekend at Crows Landing. Looks like it's going to be the Azenis RT615k+ for me as well.

If it's not a street car and the Rivals come in the sizes you want, I think they'll be a second or two faster around the AutoX course. Otherwise, the Falkens are tough to beat.

It was a great tire for its time, which has passed. It's now multiple generations old.
Combined with the price, I just can't get on board. I'd rather replace my Falkens more frequently (and in my estimation, it's only slightly more frequent).

It just sucks to be paying $500+ per tire for multiple-generations-old tech, regardless of the age.
I agree that it's still the best street tire in our sizes, though (I'll give them 1 slight notch better on ride comfort, road noise, and longevity vs. the Falkens). PSS and PS4S would just be better, and I'm holding out or supporting the competition.

Fair enough. Certainly not a bad choice, then. I just want the new stuff.
