rear bumper clips
The rear bumper is starting to separate from the upper body. I have been told the clips have broken. Any ideas on how to repair this or do I need to get a new bumper. Thanks!!!

I think it is more like it was re installed improperly and someone forgot all the screws. I would check my wheel well linings while your there and see if those need replacement too. If those are good then I would remove the bumper and reinstall properly with the right screws and clips ( a bag from Amazon is less than 10$ for a 100 body panel screws and clips). I would also take care of this pretty quickly. A run over 60mph might just rip the bumper off your car completely if the air catches it right. Then you are in for way more $$$$$$.

That explains it then that the bumper itself has tabs broken ;(. Unfortunate but easy enough fix. @Bernard IV has the right idea with washers or I would look at plastic welding like @T Kono suggests. Other easy way would be to jbweld it with plastic weld. You are adding back the broken tabs in plastic. The last resort is new bumper time which is big $$$. I replaced one on my previous 03’ turbo and the part is close to 2k alone without paint and fasteners. Go down to your local hardware store And pick up a selection of plastic washers.

Put a piece of masking tape underneath and use some washers and epoxy to fill and strengthen.

The bumper's made of polyurethane or polyethylene so it will be hard to glue.
I fixed exactly the same problem by getting a piece of thin polyethylene. I cut the piece to fit on the bottom of the lip, making it a couple inches long. I glued it to the bumper with 3M DP9005 glue which is the only stuff that reliably glues polyurethane, polyethylene, and similar plastics. When it cured I drilled my reinforcement using the original hole as a guide. This fix has been on my car for a few years now and has held up perfectly even at 140MPH.
