Default Turbo Twist question

I have two sets of Turbo Twists. Both are the same part # with the exception of the suffix. For example, the rears are 996.362.142.01 and .10. Neither are hollow spoke wheels. The difference I see is one set was manufactured in Poland and the other in Germany. I am thinking of refinishing one set and selling the other. Any reason to keep one set over the other if they are in similar condition?

I don't really have the answer for you, but some additional info from my notes below...

Which part number is marked Germany and which Poland?

In general, those last two digits can actually change the wheel completely, but according to my notes, the 996.362.142.01 and 996.362.142.10 were both used as part numbers for the non-hollow 11Jx18 offset 45mm wheels that came on early 996 Turbo's, just as 996.362.142.03 and 996.362.142.11 were both used on later hollow turbo's...

But for example, all of the below have part numbers 996.362.142.xx:

Turbo Look II BBS
11" - 45ET - 996.362.142.01 - 14.5 kg
12" - 45ET - 996.362.142.31 - 14.7 kg

Turbo II Hollow BBS
11" - 45ET - 996.362.142.03 - 11.9 kg
11" - 45ET - 996.362.142.11 - 11.9 kg

Early 2001 996 Turbo
11x18 45mm Solid 996.362.142.10 (or .01)

Late 2001 and after 996 Turbo
11x18 45mm Hollow 996.362.142.11 (or .03)

2005 996 Turbo S (darker silver wheels)
11x18 45mm Hollow 996.362.142.32

11x18 45mm Hollow 996.362.142.32

I have a set of these....I wonder what they're worth? Wonder how'd they look on a 993?

996 twists look so much better on 993s than their OEM twists IMHO/may post over there

thanks for reminding me i have these darker S twists

The ones made in Germany are .01. I don't see BBS on the wheel, I can't identify manufacturer. based on your notes .01 or .10 could be from an early 2001. I assume they are both legit Turbo Twists, just not hollow.
