Turbo S values

I'm thinking about selling my 996TTS that I bought 3 years ago. The car is a 6 speed black/black cab with 21k miles on it. I have been looking online to catch up on sale prices and have noticed that many for sale are asking for a lot more than what I payed for mine. My question to you guys is whether or not they are actually selling for 80-100k and whether or not anyone on these forums has payed close to those prices for their TTS?

I would expect to see 80k +/-5k if it is indeed a coupe in great condition and all records with no bad history. Any higher and I would say it would probably get stale on the market waiting for the 'right buyer'.
100k+ is usually for the GT2 maybe GT3?

Of course this is just my opinion based on what I see.. grain of sea salt ;)

Cabs are tough to value. Some sell for more than coupes, but usually for less. In Europe cabs sell for big bucks. I would set the price for your car on the high side then accept a good offer. You might want to consider listing it on Bring a Trailer.com

Isringhausen seems to be leading the market asking price for very low mileage (5-12k miles), unmolested, pristine and fully documented offers at just under $72k. The big question is to know what the sale price ends up at.

Low to mid 60’s. 997.1 tt’s aren’t even getting 80k to 100k.

+1 That is where I would expect the two examples I mentioned to settle.

I might be a little ignorant, but I think that the 996TTS can be comparable to the 993 and 964 turbo "s" in some degree as it was the last exclusive turbo s built before Porsche made it just a trim package. I'm not saying that it is on the same level, but the 996TTS is a pretty limited production trim...

I agree. Last year of production + fully loaded everything + limited production numbers means there should be some overlap with "run-of-the-mill" 997TT's. Especially if we're talking about a nice, low-mile example.

No. Not even close. PERFECT, ultra low mile, single or two owner coupes might pull 80K plus a bit on a really, really good day.

A 21K mile cab? I'd say mid sixties max.

I totally agree. The 996 TT is in a class of its own compared to later versions. A true modern classic
