Default Triptronic front gear case leak

2002 Turbo, transmission fluid puddle on floor, CHECK THE FRONT MOUNTS, when they go, the transfer case has movement that will tear the gaskets, plus some inner bolts come loose over time which adds to the problem. The repair is not that difficult and gaskets are available from importperformancetrans.com, call them, as web site not working for that particular part. They will advise you to loctite bolts and torque to 22lbs. Might as well change donut for front shaft as well, time and heat harden and crack these. Full repair listed on 996 forum. These cars are now at that age, just did mine myself, just purchased car, however, seller gave me ample money back. Looking forward to getting more than 75 miles of driving.
