16.5 gallons in the stock tank not enough? Where are you going?

I use Summit for lots of muscle car stuff, their regular free shipping is quick and they have a lot of items you may not expect there.

Correct!

And yep, from Summit. Amazon won't ship these to CA for some reason.

Wow, I didn't even think of that as a track setup. Is that going to pass the safety inspection?

Thank you - I'm concerned a little about the small tank (and my big right foot) on the track

I burn through 2 full tanks at a normal track day with 5 to 6, 20 min. Sessions. I dont think he would run with those up there, just transport them to the track.

The plan is to fill up the tank with 101 at the local pump, fill up each of the 5 gal tanks and then have those on stand-by in the pits when needed. I was joking about the external siphon setup.

Minimal time spent full in the car.

Any local motorcycle dealer that sells dirt bikes will likely have fuel jugs as well...

If searching online, look for "5 gallon utility jug"... Mentioning 'gasoline' on their description opens them up to a host of local and federal rules for gas containers, though almost all of them are in fact designed to hold fuel.

Here's the VP jug on Amazon:

Scribner also makes fuel jugs in all kinds of colors, on Amazon:

Make sure to get the hose portion as well, and make sure the tip fits in the cars gas flap devices. Not all of them do...

This style hose fits cars:

This style hose doesn't fit cars, though great for bikes:
