My 02 Turbo had this happen as well. Dealer fixed it under that recall... Said a good chunk of 02's were affected as well...

Does anybody know about an organization or site that informs about the existing yearly recall alerts ? I would like to check if there has been any recall alerts on 02 TT's.

There is an unfortunate gentleman who posted on 6speedonline about his 996TT catching fire as a result of the power steering leak. According to him, Porsche is denying any and all responsibility.

So what is the status? Surely someone is paying for this... Obviuosly it should be PNA but at least insurance will cover it right???
