Default Name That Bushing

I took the car out today for awhile and new squeak developed before my eyes.

So, here are the clues for my new game Name That Bushing

1. I hear the squeak when the car is stopped and I turn the wheel
2. I hear it when I go over bumps more on the left side (or so it seems)
3. I hear it when I hit the brakes and the nose dives a bit.

Mostly it's just irritating, but makes me think I need to do all the bushings at one time.

Could be a ball joint too. Take a look at the boot over the ball joint and see if you have any cracks or tears. Mine would also get louder/ more frequent with higher ambient temps and driving longer distances. I could only hear it at slow speeds.

That could be too - the sound does seem to come and go, and seems to be there more when it's hotter out.

Everything expands under heat, so if it's rubber or aluminum, those would be good starting points, hahahhaahah

Glad you have a good sense of humor too.
I say my previous comments because they're reality until you spend a lot of diagnostic work to determine that it could be one of may possibilities.
Rarely on a 15 year old car do we replace one noise and not notice another...
Exhaust yet? that may help

My front sway bar bushings would squeak when it was hot and dry. I could shoot them with WD40 and it would go away for a month or so. Stock bushings have a fabric liner that is supposed to reduce this. It wears out over time, replacing them is a cheap thing to try.

I just thought it would be a fun exercise for the collective on here to argue over haha.

I'm much more irritated with the rattling coming from the sunroof area than this.

My '74 Alfa has more creaks than Minnesota - ...Minnesota has a lot of creeks right??

Put some duct tape inside sway bushings.

Cut through the sunroof material and duct tape the hardware inside.

For the Alfa, don't change a thing.

i still think your creaking could well be the top mounts. if you get the creaking at hard lock turns and over small bumps @ lo speed? could well be them. common rubber bit that wear out. not cheap either. like 275 a copy ( fronts iirc? )
