New R-compound Rubba for the street
#17
if they have improved i'd give them another shot. again, at 275 a throw, its the best priced option available. I'm never hating a rear tire for any longer than 4-6 months anyway. i swear though the noise was such i could barely hear the particulars of the motor.. but I'm subbed to the thread and await your take after theyre scrubbed...and as steve mentioned, dont expect much from them on wet roads either! gl with them.

I never drive my car in the rain. Although Toyo rates it as a good wet tire. Its a garage queen anyway so they will last two driving seasons (summers) easy. They wont get heat cycled much either.
Perfect for me.

Man I drive my **** everywhere, all weather. I have no experience with Toyo but the Falkens can get scary with standing water (as any tire really dependent on depth).

Looks great. I like how these and the Michelins look much taller and have more of a rounded sidewall than the rt-615k. My 315 look small.

the Falken's do 'look' small
Wet performance is very impressive IMHO, standing water is dealt with pretty well too but its no swamper...

I'm skeptical of Toyo but might try the 275/335 to see how they stack up apples to apples against the NT01s..
