No. OEM Lightweight flywheel and a lightweight OEM 996Cup pulley. Zero issues. I have my own opinion on the fancy aftermarket dampeners but I'll keep those to myself.

Been busy.

The transmission fluid was replaced a couple of times and had no effect on the noise. The fluid was changed at the dealer and the factory fluid used.

In fact the transmission replaced under CPO warranty when it developed a leak. The new transmission was a dream compared to the original one, a much much better shifter.

But the rattle was present with the new transmission. I don't recall now if the orignal one manifested the noise.

I thought that too, well normal for even a "stock" car, but with the noise gone I'm not so sure now.

Think that may prove the rattle is somewhere else, if it was still present with new trans.

Power steering check valves dont usually register themselves as rattle, more of a whine or squeal.
