Default Roll bar question

Quite simple.
Will a roll bar from a 997.1 gt3 fit in a 6gt3?

I know one from a 7.1 gt-3 will fit a 996 turbo.
And, I have a 997 Tequipment in my 996t.
Think they are interchangeable but you certainly want to confirm the specific bar, it's not a job you want to do again.

Yes, I installed a GMG cage I bought off this site into my 6-3. The original owner had a 997.1

996 and 997 don't make much different, its the Sunroof that seems to matter most. So if both are non-sunroofs then you should be good.

I have a 997 roll bar in my 996 Turbo, it took less them 4 hours to install (with a lot of talking) and fit is perfect.

if you are doing the install and have never installed a roll bar into a 911 i would suggest you remove the seats console and the steering wheel along with the rear view mirror. if you dont you will be buying a windshield.
